Taekwondo Oh Do Kwan is in the envious
position of having a large number of Western Australia's leading Taekwondo instructors
this ensures quality tuition for our students and prospective students. All our Head
instructors are National Coaching Accreditation Scheme accredited coaches. Our Examiners
are all qualified under World Taekwondo Federation and Taekwondo Australia inc Guidelines.
All our instructors are Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo HQ) certified Dan holders.

Master Ross Hartnett 7th Dan Black Belt
Master Ross Hartnett 7th Dan Black Belt and
2000 Olympic Head Coach is one of Australia's most successful instructors, coaches and
former competitors. Master Hartnett who has practiced Martial Arts for some 37 years has
taught thousands of students both through his clubs and the education system the art of
Taekwondo. As a coach he was the first Australian born National Coach to a World Taekwondo
Federation benchmark event in 1996. He became the first Australian born Head Coach for the
WTF National Governing body in Australia in 1997. As National Head Coach for Australia, he
took Australia from a international ranking of 40 in the World in 1996 to the number 2
ranked Taekwondo Nation at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, where he was Taekwondo's Olympic Head
Coach. 2nd place at the Olympics is the highest ranking Australia has achieved at a Major
Benchmark event and has never been surpassed. During his 4 year tenure as Head Coach and
Director for Australia he led National teams to Success at various World Championships,
World Cup Championships, Asian Championships and a variety of Major International Open
Championships. In fact Australia was overall champion nation for the first time at a major
International Open under his tenure, when it beat some 40 other countries to lift the 1998
US International Open 1st Place Team Trophy.
Master Hartnett has also excelled with coaching his personal Oh Do Kwan club members,
with students selected for Olympics, producing a 1991 World Open Champion, A 1989 World
Invitational Champion, Asian Champion, Oceania Champion, Several Commonwealth Champions
among several hundred international open medal winners. Over the year his students have
won more than 300 National Title Gold Medals and over 600 State Title Gold Medals.
In 2006 he was honoured for his success with induction into the Australian Taekwondo
Coaches Hall of Fame. He has also been awarded in three separate years the WA Sport
Federations WA Taekwondo Coach of the year and was the first WA Taekwondo Instructor to
win the prestigious Blitz Martial Arts Magazine Australian Taekwondo Instructor of the
Year.
Master Hartnett himself was a former 7 time National Champion, World Invitational
Championship Bronze Medal Winner, European Invitational Championship Bronze Medal winner,
both Singapore and Malaysian Invitational Champion. His international renowned is such
that he was elected the inaugural President of the Commonwealth Taekwondo Union and
received various citations from the World Taekwondo Federation and Asian Taekwondo Union.
Master Hartnett is a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme qualified Coach and a World
Taekwondo Federation recognised examiner. Ross teaches at the Maddington and Victoria Park
Oh Do Kwan clubs.

Mrs Carmela Hartnett 7th Dan Black Belt
Mrs Carmela Hartnett 7th Dan Black Belt is
Australia's most prolific international Medal winner competing in both forms and in the
past fighting competitions. She has won the national championships an amazing 15 times and
State Championships over 20 times. She has amassed a staggering fifty plus international
medals including 2 World Championships Bronze Medals, World Taekwondo Festival Silver
Medal, 3 Time Commonwealth Champion, 3 Time Asian Medal Winner, 4 times U.S International
Open Champion, 4 times Malaysian International Open Champion, 2 Times British
International Open Champion, Mexican International Open champion, Canadian International
Open Champion, Thailand International Open Champion. Carmela has also been selected as a
National Coach for Australia to the 1998 Junior World Championships and 2001 Junior Asian
Championships, National trainer to the 2000 Junior World Championships and National Female
head of team to the 1998 Asian Championships. Carmela was named in Australia's team of the
Century in 2000, by the National Governing Body, to honour the top 16 athletes Australia
had produced in Taekwondo since its beginnings in Australia. In 2005 she was inducted into
the National Athlete Hall of Fame.
Carmela has also been awarded the WA Sports Federation Taekwondo Athlete of the year on
two occasions and the Ian Diffen/Community sports awards Taekwondo Athlete of the year on
three occasions.
She is also a World Taekwondo Federation qualified International referee and qualified
National Referee. She is also a National qualified Forms Judge. For all her success and
fame in Taekwondo both nationally and internationally, her favourite activity in Taekwondo
is teaching women and children traditional Taekwondo for health and self defence. Carmela
is also a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme qualified coach and World Taekwondo
Federation recognised examiner. Carmela teaches at the Maddington, Canningvale and Leeming
Oh Do Kwan clubs

| Master Ray
Hall 7th Dan |
|
Master Ray Hall has practiced Martial Arts
for some 37 years and is a renowned instructor of traditional Taekwondo. Master Hall is a
National and International qualified Referee. He is currently a member of the Taekwondo
Australia Inc National Executive Council. He is a past president of Taekwondo Western
Australia Inc for a period of 6 years and is currently Senior Vice President of Taekwondo
Western Australia Inc. Master Hall is a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme Qualified
Instructor and a World Taekwondo Federation recognised Examiner. Master Hall teaches at
the Leederville Oh Do Kwan club.

| Master Stephen
Masters 6th Dan |
|
Master Stephen Masters has practiced
Taekwondo for some 35 years. Master Stephen teaches Taekwondo at his Full Time Taekwondo
Academy in the regional centre of Albany and also commutes to Denmark to teach Taekwondo.
Master Stephen is a National and International qualified referee. He is also a National
Qualified Forms Judge. He is currently a member of the Taekwondo Western Australia Inc
executive council and a member of the state body technical committee. Master Stephen is a
regular Judge and official at both State and National Championships. He is a National
Coaching Accreditation Scheme Qualified Coach and a World Taekwondo Federation recognised
examiner.

Master
Cynthia Moir 5th Dan
Master Moir started her training as a 7
year old and has gone on to represent Australia at the pinnacle of events the 2000 Olympic
Games. Over her career she has won numerous National and State Championships.
Internationally she has won the Commonwealth Championships, Choson International Cup,
Malaysian Invitational Championships, Australian Institute of Sport International Cup,
Singapore Invitational Championships, Thailand Invitational Championships, English Open
Championships and won medals at the Dutch International Open, U.S. International Open,
Spanish International Open, Canadian International Open and Mexican International Open.
Cynthia is a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme qualified coach and a World
Taekwondo Federation recognised examiner. Cynthia teaches Taekwondo at her own Full Time
Taekwondo premises.

| Master Anita
Tippet 5th Dan |

Master Anita Tippet is a former State and International Champion. Among her honours
include Gold at the Thailand International Invitational Championships, Commonwealth
Championship Gold medal, Malaysian International Open Championships Gold medal, Singapore
International Open Championships Silver Medal and representing Australia at the World Open
Championships. She has also been a National Coach to the Commonwealth Championships and is
a member of the Western Australian State Coaching Board.
Anita is a Nationally qualified Referee and Forms Judge. She is also a National
Coaching Accreditation Scheme qualified coach, qualified Sports trainer, first aid and a
World Taekwondo Federation recognised examiner. Anita teaches in Port Kennedy at her own
full time Taekwondo club.

Brown 5th Dan |

Mr Stephen Brown has been practicing
martial arts for over 20 years and runs his own full time Taekwondo club. He has been a
former National Masters Games Champion and State Champion. For the last 6 years he has
been a member of the National Executive Council of Taekwondo Australia Inc in the position
of National Tournament Director. Stephen is a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme
qualified coach and a World Taekwondo Federation recognised examiner.

| Master Brad
Emmet 5th Dan |

Master Brad Emmett teaches Taekwondo at
the Collie branch of Oh Do Kwan in his own full time premises and several surrounding
towns. Master Emmett has first hand practical Self Defense experience running a licenced
security firm. He has also had success as a competitor winning International, National and
State titles. Master Emmett is a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme qualified coach
and a World Taekwondo Federation recognised examiner.

Crutchett 5th Dan |

Master Jenny Crutchett is one of Western
Australia's leading Referee's, she is both a National and Internationally qualified
Referee. She has been training in Taekwondo for over 18 years, during this time she has
officiated at numerous International, National and State events. Master Crutchett is a
member of the Western Australian Referee Board.

Master Lech teaches Taekwondo at our
Floreat Branch of Taekwondo Oh Do Kwan. He has practiced martial arts for over 20 years.
He was a successful former competitor winning the WA State Championships a number of times
and competing internationally. Master Lech is a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme
qualified coach and a World Taekwondo Federation recognised examiner.

| Mr Graeme
Hartnett 4th Dan |

Graeme Hartnett commenced Taekwondo
training at the age of 4 years old and has been training for 18 years. He currently
teaches Taekwondo at the Maddington HQ Branch and his own clubs in Belmont and Roleystone.
Graeme has been both a junior and Senior National Champion over the years. He has won the
National Championships eight times and represented Australia in Four National Teams
including to the Junior World Championships. His International Medal Haul includes
Singapore Open Champion, Malaysian Invitational Champion, Asian Pacific Invitational
Champion, Silver Medals at the Thailand Open and Oceania Championships.
Graeme was also an assistant coach with the Australian Development team to the 2006
Korean Open. He is currently a coach on the Taekwondo Western Australia Inc (WA Governing
Body for Taekwondo) Junior Coaching Committee.

Mr Brickwood teaches Taekwondo at the Oh
Do Kwan Byford branch. He is a qualified National referee and poomse judge. His
achievements in Taekwondo include Asian/Pacific Masters Champion, 2 times Pan Pacific
Masters Champion, Australian Masters and Australian Champion. He has also won the W.A.
State titles on various occasions over the last eight years.

Daniel is one of the main Instructors at
Oh Do Kwan's South Australia affiliated club. Daniel has been a National Champion and a
member of Australia's Olympic Athlete Program sqaud in the lead up to the 2000 Olympic
Games. His success transended Australia's borders with Medal wins in the European Cup, US
International Open, Commonwealth Championships and Mexican International Open among
others.
